Data stored by the extension

The extension stores these settings in local browser extension storage:

• Whether automatic switching is enabled.
• The selected target mode: account number or visible account text.
• The account number, if account number mode is selected.
• The visible account text fragment typed by the user, if text matching mode is selected.
• The menu text used to find YouTube's Switch account row.
• A minimal last status, such as whether a switch was requested or skipped.

The extension does not automatically store account names, email addresses, YouTube handles, page URLs, cookies, passwords, browsing history, or video activity. If visible text matching is enabled, the text typed by the user is saved locally as a setting.

Network

The extension does not make external network requests.

Permissions

The extension asks for:

• storage, to save settings.
• Access to YouTube pages, to read YouTube's visible account menu and click the selected signed-in account.
